Early Years Foundation Stage- Supporting Children’s Creative Development
Creativity emerges as babies and young children respond to a variety of different experiences, exploring their own ideas, thoughts and feelings. Children express and communicate these ideas in different ways, including through movement, art, music, dance and imaginative play. This course will identify effective practice in supporting creative development in children, focussing on the underpinning knowledge required to implement the learning and development requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage document. Emphasis will be placed on the potential for creativity in both the indoor and outdoor environment. This will include looking at how children learn and develop, the role of the adult and links to the other five areas of learning and development
Delegates will need to bring their Early Years Foundation Stage pack with them
